Academic Institutions

GHTP works closely with academic institutions around the country to instill an early interest in the global health field and provide concrete career resources for students.  Since the start of the program, we have conducted more than 100 virtual and in-person outreach events at universities across the country. We know that navigating career decisions at any stage can be daunting, so we welcome the opportunity to provide detailed information for your students and alumni about career development and job opportunities with USAID's Global Health Bureau.

Contact us today at info@globalhealthtp.org to schedule a virtual or in-person information session!

To learn more about the work we do directly with both undergraduate and graduate students, check out our Future Global Health Leaders page!

Here's what Students & Faculty have said about our information sessions & resources:

“It was such a pleasure to learn from you today. Your presentation and these resources will surely be appreciated by our students. I’m also happy to have them in my repertoire to inform my student advising.”

“It was helpful to hear [GHTP staff] explain the different hiring mechanisms and what the differences between them are. I was also surprised and delighted by the amount of specific advice and resources given.”

“[The session was] clear, concise and demystified a lot around the intricacies of what is often a thorough and in-depth application process.”
