Ways to Work within USAID Global Health

Global Health Technical Professionals (GHTP) is a US Agency for International Development (USAID) program that offers early- to mid-career global health professionals the opportunity to advance their careers supporting the USAID Bureau for Global Health and its implementing partners.

If you are an early- to mid-career professional interested in a global health career at USAID, consider viewing and applying to our open positions. You can view open positions here: https://globalhealthtp.org/join-our-team/

In addition to the GHTP, there are multiple  avenues to a career  supporting USAID Global Health (GH) Bureau and its mission.  The most common hiring mechanisms for the GH bureau are provided below with brief descriptions and links for more information.

Sustaining Technical and Analytical Resources (STAR) is a USAID-supported project which aims to strengthen the practice of global health through a learning-centered Fellowship and Internship program, capacity-building for host organizations, and knowledge-sharing collaborations between academic institutions.  View current openings at https://recruitment.ghstar.org.
