Communications & Outreach

GHTP recruits and supports early- to mid-career global health professionals, connecting them to opportunities with the USAID Bureau for Global Health, overseas Missions, and implementing partners to achieve the Agency’s global health priorities. The program provides technical professionals with professional and career development resources and partners with Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) and other inclusion-oriented organizations to grow the next generation of diverse global health professionals.

GHTP knows that in the ever-changing global health landscape, constant communication amongst stakeholders is necessary to create a cohesive set of global health objectives and learn from the experiences of others. To facilitate this communication, we regularly host and participate in career events, both in-person and virtual, to provide resources for potential program participants. We connect our widespread technical professionals with one another and with the public on our blog, which allows technical professionals and support staff to discuss global health lessons. We promote diversity and inclusion in the global health workforce through diversity programming, information sharing, and outreach.

GHTP invites you to join the conversation by participating in our events, browsing our blog, and engaging with us through our social media platforms.
